igwennannaotu JOB POSITION: SENIOR BACK END DEVELOPER JOB DESCRIPTION AND PROFILE The Back End Development Team Leader or Senior Back End Developer is responsible for writing server-side web application logic and developing back-end components for the company and the company’s Clients. The back end developer is also responsible for connecting the applications with other third party web services and API’s for the company and the company’s clients. This position is also responsible for integrating back end logic programs with the work of the front- end developers. The Team Leader is also responsible for ensuring that the deliverables of the team is being provided on time, at the right level or quality in line with the client and project requirement and to support the team to deliver their responsibilities. EXPERIENCE · Minimum of 6 years of web development. · Knowledge of Node.js and Express.js. · Experience in Agile methodology and scrum practices. · Strong Experience with Browsers API. · Experience in deploying production applications to AWS. · Experience in hosting and managing applications in development to Heroku and Vercel. QUALIFICATIONS · Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering or Computer Engineering · Strong knowledge of JavaScript web frameworks (Node.js, Express). · Understanding the fully asynchronous behaviour of JavaScript. · Expert knowledge of MVC design patterns. · Expert knowledge of Micro services. · Strong knowledge of algorithms and data structures. · Familiarity with limitations of web development technologies and their workarounds. · Strong knowledge in creating database schemas to satisfy business requirements. · Familiarity with SQL/NoSQL databases (e.g. PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB) and their declarative query languages.
