  • Nigerian writer, Othuke Umukoro, has made the country really proud as he won £3,000 (N1,607,617.11) Brunel’s African Poetry Prize.

    The 31-year-old poet said he is very much happy that he emerged winner in the international contest.

  • Stunning artifacts from the Benin Kingdom in Edo State, Nigeria.

    Most of them were stolen and are being kept in museums across Europe. The European countries have refused to return them to Nigeria.

  • Bronze sculptures from Benin Kingdom, the Capital of Edo State, Nigeria. The Binis were famous for their sophisticated sculptures and knowledge of metallurgy. They produced sculptures in mostly Bronze, brass, iron, ivory and wood. Their artwork are known all over the world
