Egyptian Startup Milezmore Secures $5 Million Funding

Brimore, Egypt’s top social commerce platform has funded $5 million in Milezmore, Egypt’s first end-to-end logistics service provider, which offers cloud fulfillment, last-mile delivery, and customizable operations solutions.

Milezmore witnessed a significant increase in a year, broadening its infrastructure to a warehousing area of +20,000 SQM, growing its footprint across the country through 15 delivery hubs, handling +15 million pieces, delivering +1 million packages, and attracting +25 fresh clients across various industries.

Mohamed Abdulaziz, CEO, and co-founder of Brimore noted that Egypt has had a disjointed traditional supply chain structure for decades that no longer functions with the advent of newer commerce models, particularly after being hit by a worldwide pandemic.

To overcome this issue, it decided that investing in Milezmore to perform all of the major activities would be the best option.

Brimore’s aim, after all, is to build smart infrastructure for the public, and Brimore’s investment in Milezmore demonstrates that.

Milezmore’s objective is to provide accelerated cloud logistics solutions to assist its merchants to realize high development potential.

Milezmore will be able to massively grow its cloud solutions thanks to the new capital, which will allow it to grow its customer base by 50 times thanks to strong technology, scalable storage, increased delivery capacity, and doubling its crew.

Milezmore’s Managing Director and co-founder, Ahmed El Attar, said the company is delighted to be the only Egyptian startup to offer all three services and serve a wide range of businesses.

He’s seen over the last four years that the traditional supply chain wasn’t designed to tackle today’s problems, and he believes Milezmore was.

Milezmore was able to establish a strong and dedicated workforce in just one year, propelling the firm ahead and achieving incredible accomplishments. This is merely the beginning, and Milezmore is certain that it will soon revolutionize the logistics business.
