Dogecoin Investor Invests in Rival Meme-Inspired Cryptocurrency Floki Inu ($FLOKI)

Glauber Contessoto, a Dogecoin investor who became a billionaire by investing his life savings into  DOGE early February, is now betting on Floki Inu ($FLOKI), a rival meme-inspired cryptocurrency.

He disclosed this while speaking to Benzinga, stating that he bought $125,000 worth of FLOKI tokens, which allowed him to amass 500 million tokens.

While he still has 900 million Dogecoin tokens in his portfolio, FLOKI has replaced Dogecoin as his second-largest investment.

What Contessoto is saying

The crypto millionaire stated that he plans to “continue buying Floki” in the future, with the objective of obtaining one billion tokens, which would require an additional $100,000 investment. He plans to buy FLOKI and DOGE declines as part of his strategy.

Looking ahead, the Dogecoin billionaire predicted that “FLOKI might take a few more dips before its meteoric rise,” depending on the markets. Floki Inu’s gaming project, which will contain non-fungible tokens and play-to-earn systems, will fuel that precipitous rise, he claims.

Contessoto also pointed to Floki Inu’s massive global ad campaign as a bullish indicator. As CryptoGlobe reported, the team behind the cryptocurrency launched a “super aggressive” ad campaign in Israel set to run for one month.

In a tweet published by the main account associated with the meme-inspired project, a video claiming “Floki is coming to Israel” details that ads will be featured in the country on “8 premium walls” as well as “180 billboards & signs” in Israel’s “20 most important cities.”

What makes Floki Inu unique?

By blending memes with utility, Floki Inu hopes to distinguish itself from other meme currencies. The team’s long-term goal is to construct an autonomous and decentralized ecosystem that includes strategic collaborations, token utility development, and Floki Inu brand use cases via NFTs, games, and decentralized finance features.

Valhalla, the NFT gaming metaverse, is the company’s major flagship product. It will be a play-to-earn gaming metaverse, according to Floki Inu, where you may earn rewards for battling and exchange or keep assets earned in the metaverse.

The team intends to merge successful components from games like Pokémon and Skyrim into Valhalla. Players will be able to catch and battle Vera animals, and the game will also include a farming system in which players may tend to their crops and sell them as NFTs.

With Valhalla, Floki Inu aspires to follow in the footsteps of games like Axie Infinity (AXS), which popularized blockchain gaming and earning.
