In its effort towards building an inclusive financial service in the continent, frontline payment gateway powerhouse, Flutterwave has expanded to Rwanda.
Flutterwave connects African continent to the world by providing the easiest and one of the most reliable payment solutions for businesses around the globe.
Gbenga Agboola, CEO and co-founder of Flutterwave at the on-going Africa Tech Summit in Kigali, Uganda said the paytech company aims to also help businesses accept payment from customers all over the world.
He said, “We are in Rwanda because we are trying to expand across Africa and Rwanda is the next digital frontier that we think we should expand to in East Africa. Recently, we got our licence from the Bank of Rwanda to operate in the Rwandan market. So, we are here now to launch our products.’’
He promised that the company will continue to provide solutions that will simplify payment in Africa and boost the continent’s financial inclusion.
Statistics reveal that Flutterwave has processed over 100 million transactions worth roughly 5.4 billion dollars for clients ranging from TransferWise, Uber, Booking.com, Jumia; among others.
