Welcome to Siberia. Lake Baikal is the deepest lake in the world, comprising about 23% of the Planet’s fresh water reserves (excluding glaciers) and home to an enormous biodiversity with over 3700 species of animals and plants living in the entire area.
Every spring a fascinating natural phenomenon takes place on the lake: the formation of giant ice sheets with intense turquoise, which give a unique spectacle in the world.
