otukama This is Chinua Achebe’s office at the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, preserved exactly as he left it 13 years ago. The table, the typewriter, the cupboard, the framed pictures… untouched. The air in this room still carries the weight of his words. Since his passing on March 21, 2013, the university has kept it frozen in time as a living memorial to the man who gave the world Things Fall Apart and put Igbo literature on the global map.
